Here is a text for a fun, melodic song with a chorus and two verses.

**Title:** The Sunshine Sneakers Shuffle

**(Tempo: Upbeat, carefree, with a hand-clap rhythm)**

**(Verse 1)**
Woke up this morning, the sky was bright blue
Pulled on my sneakers, the ones that are new
They’ve got orange laces and a big purple stripe
They feel like they’re made for a day that’s just right
Stepped on a crack, but I didn’t fall
Did a little dance in the middle of the hall
The world’s on my doorstep, a big, happy place
With a grin on my face and a spring in my space

**(Chorus)**
Oh, the sunshine is dancing, and the day’s just begun
Come on, let’s go runnin’ with the moon and the sun
We’ll shake off the worries, we’ll laugh ‘til we’re light
It’s a beautiful day for the rest of the night!
The clouds are like pillows, the wind is our friend
We’ll follow this melody right to the end!
With a jump and a jiggle, a skip and a hop
The rhythm will catch us and never will stop!

**(Verse 2)**
Saw a big dog wearing a floppy-eared hat
And a squirrel on a skateboard, imagine that!
The mailman was whistling a tune that I knew
And I joined right along, just me and my crew
We sang to the flowers, they nodded their heads
We sang to the pebbles all down by the sheds
The world is a jukebox, it’s ready to play
And we’ve got the music for the rest of the day

**(Chorus)**
Oh, the sunshine is dancing, and the day’s just begun
Come on, let’s go runnin’ with the moon and the sun
We’ll shake off the worries, we’ll laugh ‘til we’re light
It’s a beautiful day for the rest of the night!
The clouds are like pillows, the wind is our friend
We’ll follow this melody right to the end!
With a jump and a jiggle, a skip and a hop
The rhythm will catch us and never will stop!

**(Outro - Music begins to fade with a simple "la-la-la" melody)**
La, la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la
La, la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la
With a jump and a jiggle, a skip and a hop
The rhythm will catch us and never will stop!
Never will stop!
(A final, cheerful "Woo!")
